Danielle Wallace, CVT -
Danielle has been with the practice since November, 2005 and is our small animal veterinary technician. Danielle, originally from Jerome, Idaho, came to Riverside from Washington State University where she was instrumental in the education of 4th year veterinary students. She received her veterinary technician degree from the College of Southern Idaho. Special areas of interest include advanced small animal dentistry, reproduction, internal medicine and anesthesia.
Danielle's husband, Dave, works for the Pendleton Round-Up as the grounds manager. They have one child, Hadley, born in November 2007. Danielle and Dave enjoy being outdoors working with their horses and dogs and spending time with friends. They have 3 dogs and 3 horses.
Shawn Giger -
Shawn, originally from Weston, Oregon joined the practice in March of 2006 and serves as a small animal veterinary assistant. Special areas of interest for Shawn include small animal dentistry and in-patient services.
Shawn has 1 child, Ethan, born in March, 2007. Shawn enjoys spending her time camping and fishing and spending time with family. She has 1 grey cat and one dog, Angel.
Jennifer Merritt -
Jen, originally from Gresham, Oregon joined the practice in February of 2009 and serves as our large animal veterinary assistant. She has had extensive experience with horses as a trainer and through the provision of riding lessons in the Gresham area. Prior to joining our practice she worked with Dr. Scott Hansen at Columbia Equine Hospital in Gresham. She has a son, Oregon, born in March of 2008. Jen enjoys spending time with close friends and riding horses.
Robyn Sherman -
Robyn, originally from Seattle, Washington joined the practice in February of 1988 and serves as a receptionist. Special areas of interest for Robyn include client and patient services. You'll find Robyn in the practice Monday through Friday to assist you with any scheduling needs with the exception of attendance of her children's school activities.
Robyn's husband, Kevin, is a limited radiograph techician for St. Anthony Hospital. They have 2 children, McKenzie 9 years and Cierra who is 8. Robyn and Kevin enjoy spending time camping and cooking. They have 4 cats, 3 dogs and 2 horses.
Chelzie Blair -
Chelzie, originally from Pilot Rock, joined the practice in March 2008 and serves as a receptionist, inventory manager and medical record specialist. Special areas of interest for Chelzie include client and patient services. You'll find Chelzie in the practice Monday through Friday to assist you with any scheduling needs.
Karen Duffee -
Karen serves as our full time groomer. She has been with the practice for over 11 years. She and her husband Jack reside in Hermiston.
Sara Hebard-
Sara joined the practice in October 2008 and also serves as part of our grooming assistant and is also part of our kennel staff.
Grace Wilkerson and Cory O'Niel-
Grace and Cory are part of the kennel staff as well. Grace is currently attending Blue Mountain Community College pursueing a career in nursing. Cory is a senior at Pendleton High School looking forward to being a veterinarian.
